Villa Makai is a luxury vacation home built on a secluded one-acre property where you can enjoy absolute privacy and tranquility, nestled in the jungle and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Villa Makai is a two-level 2-bedroom modern home. The main level of the home is an open-concept living and kitchen area. You will enjoy peace and privacy while being less than a 3-minute drive to the world-class surfing beaches and downtown Santa Teresa.

“Beautiful place, we saw more wildlife sitting in the backyard than we saw during a hike in the jungle at a nearby national park. Very private and Martin was quick to offer us suggestions. It was really easy to check-in. We love this area of Santa Teresa too. It is walking distance to the Bakery and other great restaurants. It’s not as chaotic as Santa Teresa Beach which is a little north but, if you enjoy walking (up a big hill) you will find everything is quite close. We highly recommend that you try some food at a Soda. It’s cheap, authentic, and delicious.

“If I could give Martin more than 5 stars I would! The house is amazing with the very open feel, great backyard, and great views. There was cleaning everyday so the house was never dirty! Also, anything that our group was looking to do, we would reach out to Martin and he would arrange it for us immediately. So hospitable and gave us great tips around town. Martin and Julie are two passionate, world traveling people from different corners of the globe who have come to know and love each other in Costa Rica. One of their beliefs is that Santa Teresa is one of the most magical places to be.
Over the last 5 years living the beauty of simplicity, their goal is to share this attitude of life. They started a family business and are now running Villa Makai to receive travelers looking for the pulse of life, tranquillity and reconnection to nature.
